About Me
Hi, I’m Madison Perkins, a fashion merchandising student, creative storyteller, and local nonprofit co-leader passionate about using fashion for meaningful impact. My journey into fashion is deeply personal and shaped by both creative expression and lived experiences that showed me how powerful clothing can be in someone’s life.
I’m driven by perspective, empathy, and creativity in everything I do. Whether I’m developing adaptive apparel concepts inspired by real patient needs, coordinating community campaigns through Sawyer’s Warriors, walking in runway shows, or designing in Photoshop and Illustrator, I’m always looking for ways to tell stories that matter.
My experiences in fashion and pediatric cancer advocacy have shaped my desire to create work that is both visually compelling and purpose driven. I believe creativity is most powerful when it supports others, builds confidence, and strengthens community.
Career Goals
My short term goal is to begin my career in fashion merchandising, product development, or brand marketing, ideally in New York City where I can grow within creative, inclusive, and purpose driven brands. I want to work in a role that allows me to combine storytelling, visual communication, and strategy.
Long term, my goal is to found or lead a medically adaptive apparel brand that creates stylish, functional clothing for individuals facing medical challenges. I want to bridge the gap between fashion and healthcare by designing clothing that empowers, restores confidence, and increases accessibility.
